WHO says UK healthcare workers shattered

I'm Matt Jones with news that the new head of the World Health Organisation says that healthcare workers in the UK are "absolutely shattered" because of low morale, stress and over-work. Speaking to The Guardian newspaper, Professor Jeremy Farrar said that ambulance workers, nurses, doctors and those working in social care were all affected. More strikes took place yesterday by members of the GMB union in their dispute over pay and staffing levels. For more care news, stay with us here on Care Radio.
