I'm John Warburton with news that NHS groups want the government to fix waiting times for community healthcare services, especially for children and young people. Leaders of the NHS Confederation suggest we’re “storing up” problems for the future, by neglecting speech and language therapy, health visiting and diagnosis services. The organisation says even delays to children’s dentistry services mean sleepless nights, making concentration on education much more difficult.  The NHS Confederation adds community services should get funding for recovery in the same way hospital services have been helped.
