I'm John Warburton with news that there’s another chance for unpaid carers in Wales to register for £500 payments. According to Wales’s Deputy Minister for Social Services, carers who don’t get paid can put their names down between this coming Monday, and September the 2nd. Julia Morgan said the scheme is for unpaid carers entitled to carers’ allowance at the end of March 2022. She added registration had re-opened because it seemed that some people who could get the payment simply didn’t put their names down for it, earlier this year.
