Two UK research teams are launching major clinical trials to identify a blood test for diagnosing dementia.

I’m Matt Rosser with news that two UK research teams are launching major clinical trials to identify a blood test for diagnosing dementia. The new research, funded by a multi-million pound grant from organisations including Alzheimer's Research UK and Alzheimer's Society represents a significant step forward and could reduce the NHS’s need for expensive and invasive procedures such as PET scans and lumbar punctures within the next five years.
