I’m Paul Hutton with news that if you’re feeling ill at the moment, statistics suggest it’s far more likely you’ve got a common cold than Covid. King’s College’s ZOE symptom tracker data suggests around three in every thousand people are suffering from a cold, while one in a thousand has Covid-19. Researchers also say they also expect to see a rise in flu in the coming weeks, with the uptick in respiratory viruses was being driven by children returning to schools.
