More than 11-thousand volunteers who helped run the Covid inoculation campaign have gone on to get jobs with the health service
I'm John Warburton with news that new NHS figures show more than 11-thousand volunteers who helped run the Covid inoculation campaign have gone on to get jobs with the health service. Bosses say the extra workers could help tackle backlogs that have built up during the pandemic, according to the NHS, there are at the moment more than 350 different job types for new staff. The quantity of recruits works out at around one seventh of those who signed-up to help with the vaccination programme. For more stories like this stay with us here at Care Radio.
