I’m Matt Rosser with news that new research has found strong public support for the NHS and real concern for its future. The survey by Ipsos for The Health Foundation in May found 77% thought the NHS was ‘crucial to British society’ with 71% saying greater government investment is necessary. But just 13% of people questioned across the whole of the UK thought their national government had the right policies on health and only 15% of the public thought social care services in their local area were good.
