Scottish dementia carers asked to to stay connected

A charity wants to show carers how capturing life stories can assist people with the condition

I'm John Warburton with news that there’s currently a call to Scottish carers of people with dementia to help patients and loved ones stay connected with people who are close to them. A charity called “Tide” — “Together In Dementia Every Day” — wants to show carers how capturing life stories can assist people with the condition. The Capturing Life Stories project helps patients understand their past experiences, and remember how they’ve coped with challenges earlier in their lives. It’s being partly funded by the Scottish government.
