For the first time in two years, Scottish people are no longer legally forced to wear face masks

This is Lucy Hutton with news that for the first time in two years, Scottish people are no longer legally forced to wear face masks. Nicola Sturgeon has confirmed the country’s last Covid-19 restriction are finally scrapped. But she says she still “strongly recommends” people continue to cover their faces indoors voluntarily, especially in crowded settings. Free lateral flow tests have also ended and symptomless people are no longer advised to take tests. We’ll keep you up to date on this and other stories here on Care Radio.
