Record numbers are leaving the NHS

Driven by post-traumatic stress disorder and burn out, with fears mounting that quality of care is now being impacted

I’m Nick Meir keeping you up to date with news that record numbers are leaving the NHS, that’s according to a new study by the Engage Britain Charity. Led by John Hall, a former strategy director at the Department of Health and social, research uncovered  400 workers per week leaving the NHS. According to the report departures are being driven by post-traumatic stress disorder and burn out, with fears mounting that quality of care is now being impacted. We’ll keep you up to date on this and other developments, here on Care Radio.
