Public hub for carers' support launches in Leicester

Local charity Age UK Leicestershire and Rutland says its new Bradbury Centre can assist care receivers who, its staff claim, are increasingly “at breaking point”

I'm John Warburton with news that in Leicester, there’s a new public support centre to help older people in the city and their carers. Local charity Age UK Leicestershire and Rutland says its new Bradbury Centre can assist care receivers who, its staff claim, are increasingly “at breaking point” in the cost of living crisis. Some, according to workers, are arriving “in tears” because they can’t see a way forward. The new Information, Advice and Carers’ Hub is in Clarence House at Humberstone Gate.  For more care news stay with us here at Care Radio.
