Psychological First Aid (PFA) is a globally recommended training for people who support others during emergencies

I’m Matt Rosser with news that a new study has shown the benefits of Psychological First Aid - or PFA - for people working in care homes. PFA is a globally recommended training for people who support others during emergencies, but scientists from Northumbria University, funded by the Royal College of Nursing Foundation, have now also identified it as a suitable way of helping care workers look after their own mental health and wellbeing. For more care news stay with us here at Care Radio.
