I’m Matt Rosser with news that pilot schemes in each of England’s seven NHS regions will see care home residents assessed for dementia by specialist nurses. The scheme, costing nearly £1m is aimed at finding people with dementia who may not have received a diagnosis during the pandemic when the number of people diagnosed with dementia fell by 28,000. For more care news stay with us here at Care Radio.
