I’m Matt Rosser with news that an NHS Trust in the north of England is offering free porridge and evening meals for its workers. Restaurant staff at one hospital in Newcastle contacted the chaplaincy team when a member of staff was unable to pay for her food. The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has confirmed it’s now providing free porridge to workers at its Royal Victoria Infirmary and Freeman Hospital sites in December and January. For more care news stay with us here at Care Radio.
