NHS Scotland increase milage rate by 5p

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has welcomed the announcement but has called for the exact change to be implemented across the uk

I'm James MacDonald with news that mileage rates in Scotland are increasing according to the Scottish Government. The rate for nurses and other NHS staff working in Scotland will increase by 5p per mile in an effort to combat rising fuel costs. The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has welcomed the announcement but has called for the exact change to be implemented across the uk. There’s no increase planned in England, Wales or Northern Ireland. For more care news, stay with us here at Care Radio.
