A number of hospitals have increased the number of visitors allowed in wards and clinical settings
I'm James Macdonald with news that NHS Grampian have made changes to visiting regulations across the region. From today a number of hospitals have increased the number of visitors allowed in wards and clinical settings. Lyn Pirie, Nurse Lead for Person-Centred Visiting, said: “The benefits of in-person visiting are well known for both patients and their relatives. "I am delighted the trial extension we began in early March has gone so well and that additional wards and hospitals are moving to person-centred visiting. Specific numbers will vary between hospitals but visitors are reminded not to enter the building if they’re unwell. For more stories stay with us here at Care Radio.
