New variant-proof COVID jab available across England from September

As many as three thousand sites will be used to administer jabs to the twenty-six million people who will be eligible for it across England

I'm Matt Jones with news that the NHS will be rolling out the next generation of COVID booster jab from September that provides better protection against new variants of the virus. Care home residents and frontline NHS staff will be offered the vaccine first, followed by those aged over 75 and those at most risk from serious COVID-19 illness from mid-September. As many as three thousand sites will be used to administer jabs to the twenty-six million people who will be eligible for it across England.
