New digital support service for unpaid carers in Essex

It’s now using a system called “Mobilise”, aiming to reach around 30,000 people with on-line courses

I'm John Warburton with news that Essex County Council has launched a new, and free-of-charge, digital service to support unpaid carers. It’s now using a system called “Mobilise”, aiming to reach around 30,000 people with on-line courses, ways to book phone support, and a social community among other options. It’s carers themselves who are leading the service. County Council social care chiefs say it should help reduce isolation, give support, and help unpaid carers connect with each other.
