New App has improved emergancy care in Glasgow

The app was trialed on more than 500 patients and it captures patient details and treatment in real time and can be accessed by multiple teams

I'm James MacDonald with news that specialist trauma teams in Glasgow have replaced paper with an Ipad app and say it’s improving efficiency in emergency care. The app was trialed on more than 500 patients and it captures patient details and treatment in real time and can be accessed by multiple teams. Clinicians played a key role in the development of the app and after the trial at Queen Elizabeth University hospital and Royal Hospital for Children, the plan is to roll it out nationally.  For more care related stories stay with us here at Care Radio.
