I'm John Warburton with news that Pharmacists’ leaders are blaming a lack of planning by government officials for an apparent shortage of cough and cold medicines. The UK Health Security Agency has warned that winter illnesses including flu and Covid-19 continue to circulate at “high levels”. But the Association of Independent Multiple Pharmacies says ministers are “in denial” over supply chain problems. For its part, the Department of Health and Social Care says issues are “temporary and localised.”  For more care news stay with us here at Care Radio.
