How much is healthy sleep

New research at Cambridge University has found that middle aged people need seven hours sleep a night

I’m Sarah Hutton with news that new research at Cambridge University has found that middle aged people need seven hours sleep a night. They say that’s the perfect amount o for people wanting to keep their minds healthy. Any more or any less is linked to poor mental performance, which is at odds with current NHS advice to get between seven and nine hours. Researchers studied nearly half a million people between 38 and 73 years old. We’ll have more on this and other stories here on Care Radio.
