Good Grief Café is a success

A nurse and a psychologist from Guy’s and St Thomas’ in London have teamed up to launch a café to help NHS community staff talk about their experience of loss

I’m Matt Rosser with news that a nurse and a psychologist from Guy’s and St Thomas’ in London have teamed up to launch a café to help NHS community staff talk about their experience of loss. During the pandemic NHS staff experienced an unprecedented number of patient deaths and the Good Grief Café offers informal and confidential sessions with professional support. 91 per cent of staff who took part in the pilot said the sessions were ‘useful’ and recommended the café to colleagues. For more care news stay with us here at Care Radio.
