I’m Nick Meir keeping you up to date with news that former Health Secretary Matt Hancock has been accused of lying following yesterday's High Court ruling that the government acted unlawfully in discharging hospital patients back into care homes at the outset of the pandemic.
Dr Cathy Gardner who brought the case against the government following the death of her father in a Bicester Care Home said Matt Hancock’s claim that a protective ring was thrown around care homes at the start of the pandemic “was a lie.
