Epilepsy charity in Scotland launched survey

People living with epilepsy are more likely to experience mental health issues and become socially isolated

I'm James MacDonald with news that a charity in Scotland has launched the countries first-ever epilepsy survey. They’re looking at the mental health of sufferers. People living with epilepsy are more likely to experience mental health issues and become socially isolated. Through the survey, Epilepsy Scotland wants to hear from as many people as possible. MSP Alasdair Allan lives with the condition and says “Public understanding is much greater than it used to be but it’s important to continue to raise awareness and to highlight that epilepsy is more than seizures.
