I'm Matt Jones with news that England's social care sector must be given an urgent injection of cash before the end of the year, according to a group of MPs. The Levelling Up, Housing and Communities committee says the country's care system is "ravaged" and needs an injection of money and a long term plan to be sustainable for the future. The chairman of the committee, Clive Betts, said the government has only "come close" to resolving the social care crisis and warned more needs to be done urgently.
