Almost half of the 4.9 million people living with diabetes in the UK had difficulties managing their condition last year

I’m Nick Meir keeping you up to date with news that thousands of diabetes-sufferers’ lives are being put at risk due to a backlog in care caused by the pandemic, a charity has warned. There are 4.9 million people living with diabetes in the UK, and almost half had difficulties managing their condition last year, according to a survey of 10,000 patients by the charity Diabetes UK.
