Head of public health in Barnsley says people should still test if they have symptoms, and on the Isle of Man all Covid legal restrictions will be withdrawn at the end of the month
I'm Matt Jones with news that even though testing centres are closing, that doesn't mean the pandemic is over. That's according to the head of public health in Barnsley in Yorkshire. Carrie Abbot says that the test centre closures does not mean that people should not test if they have symptoms. PCR tests will no longer be free to the public from the 1st of April. Meanwhile on the Isle of Man, all Covid legal restrictions will be withdrawn at the end of the month despite a recent surge in cases.
