COVID cases and hospitalisations up in UK

An estimated two point seven million people had the disease in England that's about one in twenty-five people

I'm Matt Jones with news that the number of people with COVID infections rose by eighteen percept in the last week of June, according to new data from the Office for National Statistics. An estimated two point seven million people had the disease -- in England that's about one in twenty-five people. The number of people in hospital is also rising with over eleven thousand people in hospital on 30th of June -- that's up nearly three thousand from the week before.
