I'm Alistair Clarke with news that London and the south east is facing a crisis in childcare as providers are closing due to rising costs. One report recently to Hillingdon Council recommend three of its early years centre should close as they’re running at a loss. While the government say £4billion a year is spent on supporting families with the cost of childcare, Labour argue that 4000 providers have closed in the last 12 months and some parents are juggling work and childcare.
