BMA claims there are fewer fulltime GPs than 2015

The trade union says there are 1900 fewer full-time doctors than there were in 2015 and is calling on the government to take the situation more seriously

I’m Alistair Clarke with news that the British Medical Association claims the number of fully qualified GPs has fallen. The trade union says there are 1900 fewer full-time doctors than there were in 2015 and is calling on the government to take the situation more seriously. The government claimed in its 2019 manifesto that it would recruit 6000 more GPs by 2025. For more care news, stay with us here on Care Radio.
