Are NHS services as accessible to vulnerable people as they should be?

Only a third of NHS Trusts contacted comply with the Accessible Information Standard

I'm Alistair Clarke with news that there are concerns that NHS services are not as accessible to vulnerable people as they should be. Healthwatch England says only a third of NHS Trusts they contacted comply with the Accessible Information Standard. It’s also produced a report which shows many people who are hard of hearing, have low vision or a learning disability didn’t get the same access to information from the NHS during the Covid pandemic. There'll be more on this and other stories here on Care Radio.
