Applications open today for grants to choirs supporting dementia patients

The National Academy of Social Prescribing and The Utley Foundation say 100 donations are available to eligible groups

I'm John Warburton with news that applications open today for £1,000 grants to help choirs and singing groups supporting people with dementia and their carers. The National Academy of Social Prescribing and The Utley Foundation say 100 donations are available to eligible groups. Organisers aim to provide what they call “musical moments of joy” through a challenging winter for carers and patients. Registration for The Power Of Music Fund is open only from today until 9am this Wednesday.
