I’m Matt Rosser with news that the UK government has launched a £16 million fund to address the exploitation of overseas adult social care staff, extending the previous international recruitment fund. This year, the focus has shifted to preventing and responding to unethical employment practices due to concerns about exploitation. The independent provider representative body Care England has emphasised the need for meaningful workforce reforms to make the sector attractive to domestic staff.
