I’m Matt Rosser with news that parents and carers are being warned to be on the lookout for symptoms as several children have tragically lost their lives after contracting Strep A which can cause scarlet fever and more serious complications.Serious infections are more common in the elderly, very young and people with an underlying risk factor.The common symptoms are fever, sore throat or tonsillitis, severe muscle aches, localised muscle tenderness and redness at the site of a wound. For more care news stay with us here at Care Radio.
