I'm Matt Jones with news that health workers in the east of England have halved waiting times for those suffering with sleep problems. Nurses at Stamford and Rutland hospital have doubled the number of patients they see by speeding up assessment for sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is thought to affect up to 4 million people in the UK and can increase the risk of stroke, heart disease and falling asleep while driving.
