Scottish unions accept 7.5% pay deal

I'm James MacDonald with news that NHS Strike action could be cancelled in Scotland because union members have voted to accept an increased pay offer. Members of Unite and Unison have voted to accept a pay increase averaging 7.5% which means most NHS staff in Scotland will see an £2200 increase in their wage. Health Secretary Hamza Yousaf has welcomed the decision but ballots of GMB, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Royal College of Nursing (RCN) members are ongoing.
