Scientists seek healthcare staff for mindfulness research

They’ll be asked to complete three sets of questionnaires, and there’s an option to take part in confidential interviews, too

I'm John Warburton with news that scientists in Sussex are trying to find out if care workers, paid or unpaid, are really helped by practising mindfulness. Researchers from the University of Sussex want to see how carers, who are involved with mindfulness training, feel across a six-month period. They’ll be asked to complete three sets of questionnaires, and there’s an option to take part in confidential interviews, too. People with any level of mindfulness experience are welcome. The study is called “Mindarise”, and is being run by the University of Sussex with the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
