Remote monitoring of people in Scotland

People may have their vital signs checked in the comfort of their own home

I'm Alistair Clarke with news of a revolution in healthcare in Scotland. People with high blood pressure, COPD, heart disease, cancer, Covid and more may have their vital signs checked in the comfort of their own home and the readings analysed remotely by healthcare staff. It helps people feel more in control of their condition and their doctor can spot any trends developing and then arrange treatment, such as increased medication. There'll be more on this and other stories here on Care Radio.
