There’s a warning high turnover and sickness among care staff at Gloucestershire County Council could add more pressure on the county's health system
I’m Paul Hutton with news that there’s a warning high turnover and sickness among care staff at Gloucestershire County Council could add more pressure on the county's health system. The adult social care service has seen its turnover double over the last 18 months, according to the council’s draft statement of accounts for 2021/22. The figures have gone from a low of 7.6 per cent in the 12 months to September 2021, to 14.1 per cent in the year to March this year. Turnover within children’s services has also risen, up to 13.6 per cent. For more care news stay with us here at Care Radio.
