I’m Paul Hutton with news it’s being suggested high fuel prices are putting patients at risk of waiting longer for at-home appointments, or ending up in hospital when care at home would be more appropriate. An NHS Confederation and NHS Providers survey found nine in 10 NHS leaders were either extremely or moderately concerned about their organisation's ability to deliver all services, as many staff travel long distances by car to deliver vital, often covering large rural areas.
