The Royal College of Nursing says support staff are employed across hospitals, GP surgeries, care homes, social care settings and many other places
I'm John Warburton with news that the UK’s main union for nurses has thanked nursing support workers for their “invaluable” contributions, as part of a day recognising their role in healthcare. Nursing Support Workers’ Day was marked yesterday by the Royal College of Nursing, which launched a new promotional film about their work. The RCN says support staff are employed across hospitals, GP surgeries, care homes, social care settings and many other places. The film shows how they are the “eyes and ears” of their colleagues, and it’s easy to find on-line by searching YouTube for Nursing Support Workers’ Day 2022.
