I'm Alistair Clarke with news that we should say a big thank you and well done to Pauline Dwyer from Merseyside who’s celebrating 50 years working for the NHS. After 20 years working in A&E and fracture clinics, Pauline moved into a GP practice as a nurse and now spends her days checking people’s health and educating them on how to look after themselves better. Her motivation is that her father died from a heart attack when he was 71 and she thinks he may have lived longer had he had more preventative healthcare so she’s helping others to get the most out of life.
