The app let patients book appointments, see test results and order prescriptions with long-term plans to include access to social care and mental health
I’m Matt Rosser with news that the NHS in Wales has launched the beta version of its smartphone and tablet app. The NHS Wales App will let patients book appointments, see test results and order prescriptions with long-term plans to include access to social care and mental health; radiology and pathology results and to log information from blood sugar and blood pressure monitors. A thousand patients from 10 different GP surgeries are trialling the app, and a full public launch is due to take place in 2023. For more care news stay with us here at Care Radio.
