NHS staff in Wales get an additional 3% pay rise

Following a meeting between Welsh ministers and trade unions last week the increase - on top of one paid earlier this year - was ‘narrowly’ accepted

Following a meeting between Welsh ministers and trade unions last week the increase - on top of one paid earlier this year - was ‘narrowly’ accepted. The settlement - which will add 7.6% to the NHS pay bill in Wales - will not apply to GPs who are covered by a different pay award, though the BMA has said it wants further negotiations on GPs’ pay. For more care news every day stay with us here at Care Radio.
