There are still over a thousand COVID patients in intensive care in Wales
I'm Matt Jones with news that there are still over a thousand COVID patients in intensive care in Wales -- and while the numbers are stable -- NHS services remain in a serious position. That's according to Darren Hughes, the director of the Welsh NHS Confederation. Responding to the easing of Coronavirus measures in Wales, he said there was reason for optimism, but don't expect NHS services to return to normal quickly. He said COVID will remain with us for a while, and that means the way the NHS works will be restricted. There'll be more on this and other stories throughout the day here on Care Radio.
