I’m Matt Rosser with news that a new partnership has been formed to support refugees into employment in social care. Breaking Barriers and the CareTech Foundation aim to engage the care sector and encourage them to take action for refugees, scaling up a scheme initially piloted in London to the whole of UK. Jonathan Freeman of CareTech says: “We know that refugees often have the skills and values that would make them perfect for roles in social care, a sector with significant levels of vacancies.” We’ll keep you up to date with the news, here on Care Radio.
