just under a third of NHS workers are considering leaving the workforce
I'm Matt Jones with news that just under a third of NHS workers are considering leaving the workforce, according to the results of the annual NHS staff survey. The chief executive of the NHS Confederation, Matthew Taylor, says he's not surprised given the unprecedented pressure placed on the NHS for the last two years. He said the fall in NHS morale is a cause for concern, as well as the number of NHS workers who wouldn't recommend it as a place to work. The number of vacancies within the NHS now stands at one hundred and ten thousand. And there'll be more on this and our other stories right here on Care Radio.
