Majority of new hospitals promised in 2019 unlikely to be finished by election

A Sky News investigation has found seven of the 40 hospitals still don’t have a completion date, with another 25 not expected to be finished until at least 2024

I’m Nick Meir with news that it’s reported 80 percent of the 40 new hospitals promised by the Conservatives in 2019 either don’t have a completion date or are unlikely to be finished by the next general election. A Sky News investigation has found seven of the 40 hospitals still don’t have a completion date, with another 25 not expected to be finished until at least 2024, which is the year of the next election. The new hospitals pledge was a key promise in Boris Johnson's 2019 manifesto.
