I’m Matt Rosser with news that a major public opinion study has revealed a clear preference in England for increased investment in primary and community care services within the NHS. Researchers from the Health Foundation and Ipsos UK found people are willing to pay more in taxes to support these improvements. A significant majority said that if the NHS budget isn't increased, more funding should be directed towards community-based services like general practice and dentistry, compared to hospitals.
