Health bosses say they’d like autistic people, people with learning disabilities, and carers, to join the national advisory group.
I'm John Warburton with news that this weekend brings the last call for people to put themselves forward to advise NHS England on learning disability and autism. Health bosses say they’d like autistic people, people with learning disabilities, and carers, to join the national advisory group. It’s to help make sure the NHS’s work improves the health of the people the group focusses on. In the search for 11 new members for the Learning Disability and Autism Advisory Group, the health service adds people with links to groups and networks the NHS doesn’t always listen to are particularly welcome.
